{Sunday Photograph - 118}

{Banning ward church parking lot}
A new year means a new time for our 3 hour church block and new teachers/classes.  This year also is a new chapter of sorts for me since my little man is no longer in nursery (ages 18 months - 3 years old),  but in Primary with the kids.

He was excited.  I was...sad.  No more "babies" at church.  All 3 children in Primary!!!
To say he was excited was an understatement.  He walked right in and was ready.  I'm sure he missed the snack time and the bubbles that Nursery provided but from what I heard he loved every minute of it.

I admit to getting a bit teary eyed when I looked in and saw him sitting there.  A good friend reminded me that the kids are growing up and as they do, the more chores and responsibilities I can give them.  Excellent...my plan of making them my own personal slaves is still going strong...
Our church block is backwards (we combine the first two hours with a Spanish branch), so we have Sacrament meeting last.  Jonas ran into the chapel and VERY loudly pointed to his crown and said "I am GOD Mom!!"...I think he meant he's a child of God.  This kid...he's sure going to give his new teacher a run for her money!

Happy Sunday!

p.s. I have to share this story:
As I was sitting in Relief Society today I sat by my friend Sister Vickers.  That lady has spunk!  She leaned over and asked if I was hungry, then reached in her purse and pulled out a ziplock of Tamales and a mini water bottle.

It.was.awesome.

So of course I had to take a picture.
