It's the last day of school today!
Can I get a Hallelujah and three vigorous cheers!?!
In all honesty, this school year flew by. We were kept busy with lots of school reports, projects and homework.
Gone were the days of trying to stretch out the weekly assigned homework packets instead of the girls finishing the whole packet in 15 minutes. This year both had "real" homework and I realize that every year the projects/homework/reports/extra curriculars are just going to get even more intense.
It was a good year for both of them. They were recognized by the school, their teachers and their peers as leaders in academics and character. They played hard and worked hard.
I'm excited to begin Summer. I like to still have a schedule set in the Summer (lots of Biology/Science, geography and hands on exploring to be had), but knowing that I don't necessarily have to adhere to that schedule is awesome.
Today we'll grab ice cream after school and then make our Summer List (check back tomorrow for our Summer 2013 list).
Look at how much these little ladies have changed over this school year!! (side note: My kids do their own posing...they gave me quite the "interesting" ones this time).
p.s. Speaking of "break"...Jonas had to get in on the picture action and requested I take pictures of him doing his "cool moves" while he "bwake dances".
