{Sunday Photograph - 90}

Today's Sunday Photos were taken in Phoenix, Arizona this morning just before we left to come home.  I completely spaced that today was St. Patrick's day while packing for this weekend excursion, but managed to find some clothes that had green on it for the kids, but sadly, not for me.

Bret remembered and packed a green shirt.  When I asked him why he didn't remind me, he stated he thought for sure I would've remembered or at least would've have something green...seeing as how it is my favorite color.

My lack of green resulted in pinches from every one else and a giggling little boy who just thought it was hilarious to pinch his mom's bum as many times as he could throughout the day.

We said goodbye to Phoenix and headed to Mesa were we met up with one of our favorite missionaries (and his wife) who served in our area at the Mesa LDS temple.  It was so great to catch up with him and meet his new wife.
 The drive home wasn't too shabby.  The kids kept themselves entertained, Bret and I had had our awesome "long car drive" conversations that consist of semi-deep subjects, movie/TV quotes and lots of laughing.

I introduced the girls to the "Starburst candy ball".  They are still convinced I am just so darn cool and know how to do the best things ever (I will be sad when the finally figure out the truth).

Jonas learned the useful skill of being able to pee on the side of  road in the middle of nowhere when there's no bathroom close by. He came back into the car proclaiming "Woah, so cool!!!".  Once home he attempted to relieve himself in the backyard...I think this will be an issue from now on.

Once home, I promptly changed into some green (it had been bugging me all day that I wasn't wearing any).  I knew exactly what shirt I was going to wear.  My favorite color + one of my favorite shows = a new favorite t-shirt.

If you don't watch "The Big Bang Theory" then you should...and if you do, you know you will have this song stuck in your head for the rest of the night.
After the kids spent some time outside getting their wiggles out from the long car ride, we took a family vote to see what holiday movie to watch before bed.

The kids out voted the parents and so "The Gnome-Mobile" was enjoyed by all.  Both movies are classic, but I was in the mood for a little Connery - then again, when am I not in the mood for a little old school Connery?
 We had a fantastic time in Phoenix, but it's always good to be home.  I have to admit...I did miss the corned beef, cabbage and potatoes...I hope you ate some for me.
