{Sunday Photograph - 78}

 Tonight we had friends over for dinner.

We wanted them to be some of the first people to enjoy the fire pit since Tommy, the husband/dad, was the welder who put so much time in helping us build the pit and to thank his family for letting us "borrow" him many times.

Kalua pulled pork, rice, chopped salad and baked beans were on the menu tonight.  Nothing fancy, but a favorite of Bret's, who requested it for tonight's dinner.

Of course we had to end the night with some awesome conversation and S'mores around the pit.

I've never heard someone describe the smell of smoked pulled pork as soothing...but that's what Bret kept saying, with a smile on his face, and even at times with his eyes closed.

My body hasn't caught on to this whole Daylight Savings thing yet...I am tired.  Off to bed I go...
