{Sunday Photograph - 76}

 Today was a good day.

 We baked, we made treats, enjoyed delicious food at a potluck, spent quality time together as a family, felt inspired and uplifted and enjoyed the company of the missionaries for dinner (made these enchiladas...a family favorite).

It's the end of the day and there is no wonder as to why I have changed into my "stretchy pants" (name that movie).  Stretchy pants are a must when you eat as much as I did today.

My mind and heart has been focused on my friend Mimi and her family.  Tomorrow they will take their little girl Mia off life support after having sudden severe complications with the heart she received 4 years ago.

Mia is a very special little girl, who will leave a giant legacy behind her (more info here).

I can't stop thinking about what I have done with my healthy heart. or rather, the lack of things I have done with it.  My heart beats.  I should be doing something more with that gift.

I am full...belly and soul.

I think that you have done more with your heart than you realize. I know that you have influenced my life for the better. Love ya!

I am so sorry to hear about your friend. How incredibly hard. But I too agree with Melia, you do so much and are such a good example to me. However, after listening to this weekend's words of inspiration, I believe we all could do a little better, be a little kinder, and love a little more. Love you!
