{It's Off To Work We Go}

Bret called the other day and told me he was doing a C-section on a dog and asked if I wanted to bring the kids down to watch.

We quickly got ready to go, grabbed my camera and headed down to the hospital.

We walked in just after he had taken the puppies out.  The tech's were busy aggressively rubbing the puppies, swinging them and doing everything possible to get the pups to breath and cry out.

While the tech's worked on the puppies, Bret worked on sewing the dog back up.

 The kids were in puppy heaven.  There were 3 little pup's, each a different color.  Ella and Jonas just couldn't get enough of the puppies and, no surprise here, Mailee was more interested in seeing the dogs guts.

The kids think their dad is pretty awesome.  So do I.

It's easy for me to just send Bret off to work and get so busy at home doing the myriad of daily tasks to really not think about what it is Bret does exactly at work.  It's times like this visit when I realize he gets to do some pretty amazing things at work on a daily basis.

It also reminds me how hot I think his brain and Veterinary skills are....
