(the year I graduated), 80's mixes, rap mixes...you name it I probably have a mix for it.
It's been our tradition since Ella first started school/preschool to have a mix of music to listen to on the way to school. This tradition is still going strong 5 years later.
Most days we listen to this mix and other days, usually when it's been particularly crazy that morning, no music is played and we just talk in silence to get ourselves back in a good and positive place to start the day.
The kids all have a big part in helping pick out the songs for the mix. It's been nice that as they get older songs from Disney movies, The Wiggles and The Backyardigans have been replaced with songs that I can appreciate as well.
Here's our Morning Mix songs at the moment (played on shuffle):
We're Going To Be Friends - Jack Johnson (played every first day of school always)
