01.I'm a Mom.  In my mind I still think I'm 18...and often times act that way (or younger).

Many times at random points during a typical day it hits me that I am a Mom.  I am responsible for 3 human beings.

Being a mom is hard.  It's challenging.  It's frustrating.  It's amazing.  It's life changing.  It's never ending.  I love it..even when I think I don't...I do.

Being a mother has made me love my own mother more.  We mothers, are pretty amazing.

Toot! Toot! (that's me tooting my own mothering horn).

Happy Mother's day this weekend to all those Mothers and mother figures out there.

Jonas got a bubble machine for his birthday.  He thinks the gift was for him...but it was more for me.

I am not a fan of sitting outside for a good solid hour, blowing bubbles over and over (and over) again.  Plus, bubbles make me happy.

03.Ella has started a "Recycling and Conservation Club".  It was cute at first but now when I'm reading or cooking and the lights get turned conserve energy, I start to get annoyed.

Also, not so much a fan of their club activities which usually consist of going around the neighborhood or park to pick up trash.

Somehow my kids find the nastiest things that Nasty-McNasty people leave around.

04.Jonas was deemed their club mascot.  When asked what he was Mailee said "Oh, you know..a cute ball of pudge".

Umm...Ok.  Makes sense. (?)

05.After a good 7 years of hearing Dora's voice I can't take it much longer.  She's just as whiny as Caillou.  Where does it say that the voice for a kid cartoon MUST be whiny and annoying?!

.I was wearing a mint colored top the other day.  While making lunch for the kids I got mustard on it.  Before kids I would've been super bummed and, well I just licked off the mustard, made a mental note to Shout Stick it later and thought that the mustard yellow stain at least complimented the mint color.

Tomorrow is the annual Father's and Sons camp out that our Church does.  Bret can't wait to take Jonas.  I'm looking forward to some fun girl time with my girls and friends.

I can't wait to hear how Jonas kept Bret up all night in the tent.

.I have been biting my nails again.  The key to nipping the nibbling is keeping them painted.  Looks like tonight I will be painting my nails.

09.We learned the hard (and stinky) way that letting Jonas eat 2 of Bret's protien bars was not a good idea.  Lot's of fiber = 7 full diapers.

Never again.
