{Bits}

01.This picture was snapped last night just before dinner. Little did I know that a few hours later a horrible stomach bug would choose my body as its host and wreak havoc on me.

Up all night dealing with Mr. Flu only to wake up weak and housing Mr. Head Cold as well.

Not cool.

02.Did you know Android now has Instagram? I signed up yesterday and I love it. So much fun connecting to friends/family with snapshots of their day to day living. Wanna be Instagram buddies? ericagrover14...look me up.

03.I had full intentions of posting a yummy, not healthy, easy recipe for you today. Unfortunately even looking at the pictures of the food made me queasy, so I will just have to do it tomorrow.

04.Jonas has been walking around the house the last few days "talking" up a storm. I would say one out of every 3 or 4 words I understand. I have become a pro at distraction. If I don't know what he's trying to say or ask for I just distract him with the words food, cars or outside. Works every time.

05.On Saturday we got a box of See's chocolates and some chocolate marshmallow eggs with intentions of having them for Easter. Who was I kidding? I see Bret opening the chocolate box at least once an hour. Here's to hoping the chocolate marshmallow eggs make it...

06.Got an email about Fall soccer registration. As much as I love watching my kids play soccer and love it as much as Bret and I do I am not looking forward to all the practices during the week and every Saturday being tied up until November.

People are crazy hardcore around here about soccer...even with kids at a young age.

07.Bret got a kick out of watching me watch Jonas brush his teeth. Jonas occasionally makes himself gag while brushing his teeth, which in turn makes me gag(I have a horrible gagging reflex). He laughs, we gag...good times.

Sorry you got sick...boo.
And I am with you on this whole soccer thing. I coach two teams but this is the first year that we have not stopped since the fall. My daughter made all stars so we have not stopped since last Aug. I am looking forward to May 20th, her last game..and then a 3 month break!

Serious kid sports- that is something I remember about living in California. Gone are the days of casual city recreation soccer where kids are out to learn the basics and have a good time. It's serious business down there. And it's expensive!
