{Merry Christmas}

We've been given so many Christmas goodies. Homemade bread, Christmas cookies and other sweet treats have been brought to our door, which is almost completely covered with Christmas cards from loved ones around the world.

Christmas music playing is almost a constant throughout the day here...even Jonas is singing the words to Handel's Hallelujah Chorus...or at least attempts to in his baby jargon sort of way.My Christmas "To Do" list is almost complete. Neighbor/friend gifts delivered, Christmas cards sent, and finally the presents have been wrapped and placed under the tree.

This is the time, when Christmas is almost upon us, and that rushing about to finish things is done, that we have even more time to reflect, talk and teach to our kids our thoughts and feelings about the Christmas season. I love this time.We are blessed and recognize that all we have in our lives is from a Heavenly Father who loves us.

As I have gone about completing the Christmas to do's I kept reflecting back on the earthly parents of our Savior Jesus Christ. How much faith they had to have. How blessed they were to be chosen to help raise Jesus.

My love for them has overwhelmed me at times and a deeper sense of respect and awe has been instilled in my heart.
Merry Christmas!
