{Words I live by}

Many months ago the ever talented and witty Megan created a print that I fell in love with.

The print is of The Family: A Proclamation to the World, a statement that was published by the leaders of my Church.

The words in this proclamation are dear to my heart and what I use as a checklist to make sure I'm doing the things I need to be doing for myself, my family and my children.

I've been meaning to put it up for months now but just hadn't found a frame and finally once I did, I just didn't make time to spray paint the once black frame white...until Saturday.In a world where the family and family values are being pushed to the back burner of society, Bret and I have really felt like we need to teach our kids how important family relationships are.

We are attempting to memorize this Proclamation as a family, and though it's proven a difficult task with the kids, just the simple conversations we have as we explain what the words mean have been wonderful.

* Megan's talent for creating art can be seen, appreciated and purchased {HERE}. I've got my eye on a few other prints...

That is an awesome poster that Megan created. I would like to get one too! Sooo glad that you and Bret are doing your best to continue to teach good values to your children. The world may not understand but truth is truth and the family is eternal.

Love ya,

Dad

Now wait for the comments to come from everyone that comes in your house. They will want one themselves. I love showing it off. I have fantasies of being called as an RS teacher for one single week so I can teach the lesson on the family proc. and bring my big one and show everyone how brilliant my sister is.

That is super cool! I made my own print last year to opt out of the standard print, but I like that one so much better. Very nice find Erica. Way to teach those values in a stylish way. ;)
