{Tis the Season}

For the next 3 months our house will be filled with Soccer. It's even taken over our dinner time with soccer scenarios being played out with the salt and pepper shaker and utensils.

As much as I love seeing my girls love a sport that both parents love and play, by the time November rolls around I'm so OVER soccer. Practices all week, games taking up our Saturdays (Bret's coaching so that adds more stuff)...you get the picture and I'm sure many of you can relate.

It's soccer season!

It's here for us, too! I want to make a little banner/sign thing for my girls' teams. Any suggestions? Felt? Flannel? I don't know what I'm doing, I never played soccer! But I'm going to be the best dang soccer mom there is :) Email me if you have any tips for a team flag/banner/I don't even know what they're called, I just see them on the field and neither of their teams had one last year.

Here's a post I did about making the banner.

Email me if you have more questions. Stiff felt for the banner itself and then once your team has a name you can get creative!

Love Ella's missing tooth! Your girls are just the cutest. :) I'm not really into sports, but want the boys to be, and soccer is my sport of choice in their future. How old do they need to be? We have a little soccer ball and Lucas can already dribble it across the living room. Obviously I know they don't have a baby team. :) I'm curious for Matthew.

Great pictures! So far no soccer players in our house, Amelia tried it one season, but it wasn't her thing, she much preferred picking flowers or wandering off the field. :-) I like soccer because there is a beginning and end. Karate and her dance/cheer class go all year long...
