{Sunday Photographs - 27}

I grabbed my camera and went upstairs, following the chipmunk like voices of my children and found this very common scene unfolding as I opened the girls bedroom door.

A mess of library books on the floor (all of which have been read at least two or three times), a cluttered yet organized desktop, evidence that of Jonas playing in the garbage can and all three littles on one bed reading together.

A moment I needed to capture. One that always brings a smile to my face. I closed the door after taking a few pictures and let them be.

Sometimes Sunday's aren't exactly the "day of rest" that I like to have. Today was one of those days. At church I had to lead the music in Sacrament meeting, teach sharing time with the other counselor and play the piano in primary. Jonas was juggled back and forth between Bret, me and friends while Bret taught a combined third hour lesson to the adults. It was kind of crazy.

Tonight instead of the more-often-than-not Sunday dinner filled with lots of homemade cooking and goodies, I opted for popcorn, cheese cubes and sliced apples. I just had no desire to add more craziness to this day.

Now the house is filled with the sweet smell of Mailee's birthday cake baking in the oven...the last birthday cake for "Birthday Fest 2011".

Bret is on call at at the moment sewing up a dog at the hospital who got in a dog fight. People...leash your dogs!!!

A Sunday evening walk with friends is something I'm looking forward to in a bit. It rained off and on earlier today and the air still smells like a Summer storm. Oh how I miss the awesome storms the Mid-West put on for us.

I LOVE your girls room! Where did you get their name letters? I haven't been able to find any that size and I would love to know where you got them!!

They caught my eye on the bottom aisle of the home decor section and I about peed my pants!

Wow. You totally scored! That rocks. I may have to make do with smaller ones then but I'll keep my eyes open. Did you paint them or were they that color? Love it!
