{Job}

{5.5.2011 - comforting the teether}I love my job. I love what my job entails.

Growth, nurturing, stretching, teaching, yelling, laughing, crying, guilt, learning, grooming, fretting, imagining, hoping, praying, looking forward, looking back, routine, the unknown, talking, whispering, struggling, loving...so many words (and more) to describe the word Mother.There are some days that I want to be far away, doing something just for me and wishing I could be more. I think all mother's have those days. But at the end of those long hard days, in the stillness of the house when the Littles are sleeping in their beds, I review the day and really see how much being a mother teaches me...defines me really, and I'm okay with that.

Where much is given, much is required.

Being a mother is the ultimate gift that has been given to me. It's a daily struggle to fulfill the immense requirements of this wonderful, soul shaping gift, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in this world.{4.30.11 - My girls and me}

This was beautiful Erica. Being a mom is hardwork! For me, being a mom of 6 is super hardwork. Sometimes I forget why I've chosen this job and you really stated it perfectly. Being a mom teaches me so much. Your children are beautiful, so is their momma.
