{Turning of tables}

Jonas is mobile. He's a chubby little terror on all fours. If you don't believe me...just ask Mailee.It seems the tables have turned for Miss Mailee. She's usually the one being told "Leave me alone!" or told to stop following/touching/playing/bothering.

It seems Jonas is her shadow. Everything and anything she touches he must have. Anything she does he must crawl over and see. Anything she touches he must drool on.She tries to get out of reach, which only makes him that more determined to get to her. When he can't some serious pouty face happens.I know it's annoying for Mailee but for me it's just too cute to sit back and observe the frustrating situation play out.

Jonas usually wins the battle and Mailee leaves to find somewhere else to hide.I think Ella is loving it as much as I am. She's not being bothered in the least bit. Probably because all she wants to do these days is read.

My how the tables have turned...

p.s.every single pair of Jeans Mailee owns has holes in the knees. My kids slide on their knees despite my pleading. I just tell myself that people pay $$$ for destressed jeans...right? Or perhaps it's time to stock up on the $7 jeans at Old Navy again. Or maybe the weather will just warme up ASAP so I can cut them all into bermuda shorts. Decisions, decision.

Mailee looks so much like mom in the picture with her hands on her hips.

Those pictures are adorable. I love Mailee's frustration and Jonas' pout. And my girls jeans look exactly the same. :)

I think that the jeans with holes are adorable. I wouldn't buy anymore.

Poor Jonas, the first ever picture of him not only not smiling, but morroring Mailee's little pout, he has no idea why his charm has so suddenly lost its magic!

I LOVED these pictures! You totally captured her disgust -- frustration -- irritation, and utter displacement. Hahaha! I remember those days so well even though it was a million years ago. She'll (and he) will laugh at these so much in the future.

Hahahaha! Oh man, that second picture of Mailee says it all! And oh how my face looks pretty much the same around my own little terror. Good luck! And tell Miss Mai that she and Natalie can commiserate in St. George. Love it. Post made my day!

You captured the frustration so perfectly! I'm really feeling for poor Mailee. Jonas' little pout is so sad and so adorable.

We are having the exact same issues here as well - jeans with holes in the knees - I never understood why kids wore out their jeans and wrongfully thought that my kids will never do that. So much for passing them down. But we have cut a few into shorts already - although your weather is more appropriate for that right now than ours.

Also, love the interaction/altercation with Mailee and Jonas. We deal with this on a daily basis too. The older kids underestimate the strong will and bofy of their baby brother and they are often forced to give in. I love that you captured the emotion so profoundly!
