{Movies in October}

When outside is dark and stormy with the surrounding area covered in a thick fog, contributing to that "Halloween feeling" we like to cozy up inside and watch some of our favorite Halloween movies.Pictures are created and added to the Spooky picture wall. Ghosts, mummies with their Hello Kitty Ghost pet are proudly displayed for all to see.Subtle Halloween decor placed around the house sets the holiday tone this week. Pumpkins will soon be carved and add to the spooky ambiance as well. These little munchkins have had so much fun watching Halloween classics like:
*Skeleton dance
*All the Disney Halloween animated classics
*Hocus Pocus
*Ichabod AKA Legend of Sleepy Hollow
*Halloweentown (all of them)
*Harry Potter (all)
*It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown
*The Nightmare Before Christmas

Bret and I also will or have watched :
*Watcher in the Woods
*Wait until dark
*Young Frankenstein
*Ghost Busters
*Something Wicked This Way Comes

I know there are some I have forgotten. Care to add any to the list?

HA! Where did you get that Pink Floyd t shirt?? Steve would die--he loves that band. I love watching "spooky" movies with my kiddos. Of course we have watched HP many times, but I also think Casper and Spiderwick are really fun movies too.

Oh and one of MY personal favorites to watch this time of year is Lady in White. CLASSIC!

I love the glitter skeleton and skulls. I just barely pulled out all of our decorations this weekend, my kids have been begging me to for weeks. I like to wait until a little bit closer to Halloween to go crazy :) I don't think I know any other movies that haven't been mentioned, but I love the ones that have been!

Such cute pictures of all 3 kids! I love the way Jonas is looking at Mailee :)

Ring pops are a staple in my house too...luckily Hinckley doesn't have enough hair yet for the times she has tried to stick one in his hair!
