As you can imagine we've got lots to do before family comes. And by lots I mean cleaning. I know our family members are the last ones to really care if our house is clean or not and have often wondered why it is we think the house must be spotless before they come, but I just have to have them arrive to a squeaky clean house.
So this is where I wish you all a happy weekend early and get to cleaning, cooking + baking, finishing up photo sessions, running last minute errands and getting things in order so we can enjoy this special family time coming soon.

What's a post without a few pictures? So please enjoy our little pudge enjoying his Bumbo (obviously used by his sisters hence the purple color).Look at his chins! Look at his delicious squishy pudgy self.
I love my chunky babies and try to enjoy their chunkieness as much as possible, knowing that by 12 months they drop to the 40th percentile...a very sad day when that happens.
So if you will excuse me I think I first need to go and love on my little pudge just a bit more...you know...to get some energy to begin the long list of things I need to do today.
p.s. if you have a pukey baby an oil cloth mat comes in handy during tummy time. We have loved our oil cloth mat - used with all the kids for tummy time, crafts, play dough, etc.

Have so much fun with your family! It sounds like it's going to be a blast. Good luck with all of the preparations and everything. I'm the same way with having to have everything done and perfect before anyone comes to stay with us. Just don't overdo it so you're worn out before the fun even starts :)

What a chunk! I love it - Looks like Jonas is going to give Lyv a run for the most rolls. Such a cute boy!
He's so adorably chunky! I don't think I can make chunky babies. Addie was never in the 40th percentile. Reggie is in the 60th for length (20th in weight) and that's the highest we've got!
