3 pounds...it's what I gained (so says the scale this morning) over the weekend. How did that happen? Well you take a long holiday weekend, fabulous weather, family visiting and a lot of this:
...along with a lot of yummy food such as this:
SNICKER SALAD (tastes like a yummy carmel apple with nuts and chocolate)
Ingredients:
Cool whip
Snickers (frozen or cold - easier to chop)
green apples (tart, with a little sweet and lots of juicy)
Chop apples into bite size pieces. Chop Snickers bars into bite size pieces. Combine in bowl. Stir in cool whip. ENJOY!!

I also braved the local Outlets with my sister-in-law. After spending 15 minutes finding parking we only made it to one store before we had to go home. I did score 2 new pairs of wedges, some tops and a few super cute accessories, all for a steal of a deal! Love it!
We ended the weekend with a yummy BBQ filled with family, friends, food, music, dancing and laughter.
Now...back to normal...until Thursday, then DISNEYLAND here we come!

Found this over at Pinterest. I have lots of apples that I need to use. How many snickers do you use per apple? Do you use the whole container of cool whip?
My favorite part is calling this a salad. It makes it seem less sinful. I'm making this for a kid-friendly dinner party party, I think. Can it be made ahead of time, or will the apples turn? I guess I could toss them in pineapple juice or sprite or something. Thanks for sharing!
I've made this for years. I use red and green apples, red and green grapes and add one box of vanilla pudding mix with the cool whip. I've also swapped snickers for clark bars as well as dark chocolate peanut chews. I've even added the pineapple and now I have a friend of nine who has a catering business and he uses it when he caters weddings.
