{No. 107}

A few things I wouldn't mind getting for Valentine's day or giving to others.Customized love message cookies.A monogrammed mug. Having the mug filled with candy hearts or even a love note would be a plus.Last year Bret got me the "You and Me" poster and I love it. I think the "For like ever" print would look great in the girls room. Perhaps the poster will be their Valentine this year.This love holiday hued necklace would make the perfect gift for someone. A bonus...the price tag is not too shabby.Vitnage copies or limited edition copies of favorite books is always a great book. It shows you put thought into the gift and know what the person likes or is interested in.Vintage valentines are always a great gift. The cute and quirky sayings are always entertaining. I have a collection of over 100 of these vintage lovelies and always smile while reading through them. The link given takes you to reproductions of the 1950's cards but you can find origionals on Ebay and Etsy.

Showing love to those in your life that mean something to you should be something done year round and on a daily basis, but a day where one is reminded to do something for someone they love isn't bad...quite harmless actually.

Enjoy thinking of ways to show others that you love them, my guess is that while doing this you'll find just as much enjoyment as the reciever.

Click {HERE} for today's tune. It's the only place I could find this cover by The Bird and the Bee so please disregard the picture. Love it!!

p.s. check back tomorrow for a small Valentine giveaway!

p.p.s. Happy 90th birthday to my wonderful Grandma! I love you!

Those vintage valentines remind me of my grandma. She still sends me and each member of my family a paper valentine just like those every single year, ever since I moved away from home. Isn't that cute? Usually just an envelope with a little paper valentine for each one of us. She must have a pretty good stock pile! :)
