{Worth it}

I thought I would share a few recent purchases that I'm loving and all totally worth it!

I try to surround my girls with quality toys that will prove entertaining and stimulates the imagination at the same time.After taking a look at the playroom's current state which has reached FULL capacity I knew I didn't want to get a ton of new toys for the girls. I narrowed down my long list of toys I have been keeping and decided on 2 gifts for the playroom and let me tell you...THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY SPENT!The wood slide has already been put to good use, not only for the sliding down of little girls but for dolls, figurines, cars and anything else they can think of. Underneath the slide has been turned into a "dark cave" or a hide out depending on the story line.

I personally love the way the slide looks...not some bulky plastic primary colored thing competing for space.

As for the cardboard house I knew this one would be a hit with my girls. A house to play in and a canvas for their art = perfect! I'm kicking myself for not getting 2 when we had the chance. Costco was selling them for $10 (original price is $40!). Check out your Costco and see if they have any left, they are awesome!I'm not a fan of being used as a walking advertisement for retail companies. Old Navy usually splatters their brand name all over their sweat shirts. I was pleasantly surprised to see this adorable ruffle hoodie with nothing on it but the cute detailing of ruffles. I added 2 of these to my wardrobe...at $9.99 each I'd be crazy not to. I love them.

Care to share anything you've found recently for yourself or others that were totally worth it?

The most worth it purchase I have made recently are Jack's Converse Chuck Taylors. I have always bought him those shoes and nothing else. But I recently tried the cheaper route and bought some cute little tennis shoes from Wal-Mart because they were cheaper and I thought they would be just as good. Absolutely not. It took less than a month for him to wear holes in the toes. So I went to Nordstrom and dropped the $30 on our regular good ol' Chuck Taylors and I am so glad I did. They just last- bottom line. For my boys and probably my future daughter as well, we will always go for our Converse Chuck Taylors.

p.s. I have proudly saved each and every pair of Chucks that Jack has gone through. I think I have about 8 pairs. They warm my heart every time I line them up. And when Van starts wearing those, I will save his too. They are just so cute.

I saw those houses at Costco and thought how perfect those would be for your girls! So glad you found them too. That slide is the perfect fit for your house too. Love it. So sad I missed seeing you guys while you were here. Hope you got back safe!

Yeah that slide looks awesome, I love it! That house is cool too, what a deal! We got an art easel and it has been so fun to find the little notes and pictures that get left there. Totally worth it!
