the girls having a blast, repeatedly proclaiming how cool we are
I will enjoy this time when a glow stick makes me cool to my kids because we all know that won't last.

It looked like so much fun. I found myself wishing I was in the water with them.

Don't you find that the cheap toys are used just as much if not more than that overly expensive unnecessary gadget you knew they would love that is now in close competition with the other overly expensive gadget as to which one has the thicker layer of dust?

What are some things your kids (or you) like that are $5 or less?

p.s thanks for the Etsy shop name suggestions. I think I came up with something that will do for now. Taking pictures of the earrings is on my list for today. Not quiet sure how I want to do that...we'll see.

my daughters favorite thing to play with is my sewing measuring tape... she could care less about half the toys we have for her just give her that tape measure!

My dog's favorite toys are all garabage.

He loves to play with empty water or soda bottles. LOVES them!

My kiddos love when we get packages from Grandma. Who cares what is inside, the empty box and some crayons or washable markers keeps them busy for hours!

Those glow sticks are so cool. Hunter would love them. What dollar store did you get them from?????? I must go get some today. So unfortunately Tanner's favorite things to play with are NOT cheap ie: my cell phone, computers, dvd players, tvs etc... (as you saw today) its really annoying, but hopefully that will change soon. Basically the dollar section at Target is my absolute FAV place to check out.

PS: did you see Melissa on DWTS last night......Eat your heart out Jason, she ROCKED!!

So that looks like it might have been fun, but I think I may have a complex about being in dark bathrooms.....but you wouldn't know anything about THAT, now would you erica?!? haha, no really, you guys are such good parents. your kids will think you guys are cool no matter the age! Just look at us and Mom and Dad!

Forgot to tell you that Javien absolutely loves these paint by numbers from Michaels. I think they are a dollar or so and they are perfect for when Tytus and Kassius aren't around. I bet Kash and Tytus could figure it out but sometimes I don't feel like cleaning up.

What a fun idea. We just might have to do that!

Brett loves playing in the bath or shower. For like, an hour. So, that's when I get my make-up and hair done in the morning. It's nice.

Brett loves play-doh (the homemade kind) and dollar store cookie cutters. Keeps him busy forever.

SUCH a great idea! I'm still planning on using your flashlight in the gym idea for a playgroup enrichment activity. Always great idea from the fabulous eRICa!

Love the glow stick idea. Our kids are sadly outgrowing the cheep stuff.
Ashlynn however LOVES a roll of toilet paper and a toilet. We try to keep her away from this favorite past time however.

You are my fave... said...

How fun. I'll have to share this idea with all my neices and nephews. My cool aunt status will sky rocket.
