{Yays and Boos}

YAY:I am Aunt for the third time. My brother Jim and his wife Cristy welcomed a new baby girl into the world on Tuesday. Congratulations guys...she's beautiful! Just look at those cheeks!
BOO:I am too far away to visit, hold her and help Cristy and Jim out. I can't wait to meet her next month.YAY:I snagged the special Holiday issue from Martha yesterday. It gave me so many ideas for neighbor gifts this year. I was a little disappointed however that a lot of the 150 ideas in the issue were just old ones from past magazines, which I have, but there were some new ones thrown in there as well.
BOO:Trying to find time to do something cool for neighbor gifts this year. I loved last years (view HERE), but can't do that again...can I? Though the hand rolling of the beeswax was weirdly calming to me, do I even have time this year? We'll see...YAY:Got my awesome green pea coat and Ella's new winter coat for 50% off HERE on Friday! (Ella took this picture with my camera...after five or so failed attempts of just my head or the wall she got a decent shot, don't mind the face I didn't know when she would be pressing the button :). I was very afraid for my camera - it's heavy. Ella couldn't hold it up for very long. But she thought it was cool to get to use my camera :P).
BOO:I just might have to go back and get the pink one. Why is that a boo...not for me...more so for Bret.YAY:For little notes to be seen/read when I come down in the morning.
BOO:Sadly, with Bret's rotation and studying for boards this is the form of communication we have at the moment.YAY:Costco has their seasonal chicken pot pies! I dare say they are better than any homemade pot pie I have ever tasted. I'm not a big pot pie fan, but for some reason I love this one!
BOO:They are so stink'n huge! Looks like we'll be having leftovers for lunch and dinner today.YAY:Scored a new pair of flats a la Target. Cute, very affordable and easy to slip on and off when running to take my kids to school, or heading to the grocery store.
BOO:Still on the look out for that perfect brown boot and black wedge shoe. Anyone wanna point me in a direction as to where to find them?YAY:Bret had a rare moment on Saturday where he was able to take a break and spend some needed one on one time with Mailee. She's just so different when she's by herself and not with Ella. I felt like I was intruding by taking this picture, but I had to document this special time.
BOO:One on one time with any of us is hard to come by. Seriously can't wait until this whole Veterinary school is over!YAY:We had our first little bit of snow last Friday.
