{Yays and Boos}

YAY:During naps yesterday I was able to put a dent in my ever growing pile of magazines I need to go through. It was very relaxing and enjoyable spread out on the floor going back through old issues of favorite magazines and cut, tear and glue snippets of awesome ideas into a binder for safe keeping.
BOO:I still have a ton of magazines to go through.YAY:Mailee likes water. This might not be a big deal on your family, but for some reason she refuses to drink water. I didn't want to just give them straight juice so we would totally dilute the juice(80/20). I couldn't believe that Mailee would rather have nasty watered down juice over water. I love my H2O.
BOO:She must have the water in my favorite water drinking cup. It's big (picture practically cover her whole face) and usually heavy because it's full of ice (must have ice with my water). She's spilled all over herself and the carpet many times in the last few days, but I can't complain because at least she's drinking water.YAY:Get on over to Costco and get you these toys. Ella adores the muffin toy, being first introduced to it a couple years ago in preschool. It's a hot item at the school and I've wanted to get them for her before but didn't want to fork over the $20 just for the muffins. Well Costco has them AND 2 other super rad educational toys for $13 right now!! The ice cream teaches colors, the cookies teach number recognition and counting and the muffins teach you basic shapes and matching. LOVE it when toys have a higher purpose than just entertainment.
BOO:I' ve had to play referee the last few days between the girls and these toys. But it's so worth it. In the last 3 days Mailee has learned all her colors (the basic rainbow ones).YAY:For these tiny little morsels of goodness. Every 6 months or so I get a craving for Nerds. They are currently my go to candy when working on pictures. A handful of these bad boys every few minutes or so makes picture editing better.
BOO:My girls love them too and little nerds are being discovered in the most random of places in the house.YAY:People are starting to get their movie swap packages. It's so much fun to see what people sent. BE SURE AND EMAIL PICTURES OF YOUR STUFF SO I CAN POST IT!
BOO:I've had a lot of emails and comments saying they wish they would've known about the swap (they missed the sign up deadline). No worries, another swap will be coming up soon.YAY:It's my big brother's birthday today. Happy Birthday Brother!
BOO:If it's his birthday it means mine is less than 6 months away and I don't want to turn 28!YAY:Mailee got to take her first snacks to school. She had so much fun helping cut the grapes and placing them in the cups.
BOO:she now asks for grapes cut in half and in a little cup every day.YAY:Check out all the fancy new color choices for the new iPod Nano. I love this new design and the new features are super rad.
BOO:My nano isn't even 6 months old yet and I want this new one...blast!

Now that you know my Yays and Boos of the week what are yours?

Hey, thanks for the blog comment! You are too sweet!

As for you, what the heck?! Those are the coolest treats for preschool ever!!

Natalie is also into water lately. EVERY store we go into she starts begging for water like I'm depriving her or something. I wheel her over to the drinking fountain where she proceeds to completely drench herself... rrrrrr

(that's been my biggest yay and boo for about a month now I think)

yay for max because he has swimming lessons today
boo for me because I don't enjoy his swimming lessons. They have way way too many kids in the class, so the pool side is super crowded and hot.

yay for sesame street
no boo for this one!

I have a question... When I receive my package for the movie swap, is there going to be someone's address for me to send mine to in the box or are you going to email me with a person to send mine to? I dont think I really understood.
P.S. TOTALLY stole that bread recipe from yesterday and I will probably be trying it out this weekend! Looks DELICIOUS!

If you are ever in the market for another iPod, get the iTouch. It will change your life. I'm not even kidding.

Nerds are the bomb. Nuff said.

Movie swap was awesome. Thanks for organizing it.

My 2yr old ds also would rather drink watered down apple juice (40/60) than water. So I took him to the store to buy him a special water bottle. (it's really just a sippy cup) That get filled with water and he's allowed to carry it around the house with him. I've also stopped giving him juice during the day and he gets it only at meal times. Now he requests water at dinner time (to be like his momma and daddy).

yay: the cable station, kids on demand. my ds gets to watch as much backyardagins as he wants while we are all sick.
boo: both boys and myself are sick with a nasty head cold. having a 7 week old with a cold is no fun.

Yay: for the cutest cookie, muffin and ice cream toys that help your kids learn.
Boo: they are the hot item at our house and have been for almost two years! Many a fight breaks out over these babies, especially when friends are over. Our muffins have mysteriously disappeared.... all of them. I have no idea where they went, haha. Maybe I should just go get another set at Costco. Why not add to the humongous toy pile! ;)

Yay: for fun swaps! I had such a fun time with this swap and my swap partner was darling. Thanks for organizing it! And I'll email you a picture of my loot shortly :)
Boo: I wish I got fun packages in the mail everyday.... :)

yay: I got to hear the baby's heartbeat today! I heard it for 8 weeks because of the move. I was so happy to hear it and it was fast and healthy - then the baby kicked the dobler. Sounds like a boy to me....we find out Oct. 9th! Wade will be home then!

no boos!
