{milestone and mascara}

When did my little one, my baby, get big enough to sing songs, or play with dolls, or have a love of all things princess (I swear the whole princess obsession came a bit earlier for my second one because she adores her older sister and that's what she's into), or put on her shoes, or have her own opinion on what she wears? Didn't I just give birth to her like .... yesterday??!!

This coming Sunday Mailee hits a milestone that for the last few months Bret and I have been silently (or not) waiting for...NURSERY! These photos were taken last Sunday, her last Sunday as a "baby" at church, where she comes with Bret and I for the whole 3 hour block of church. As I was taking them I kept thinking how old she looked in her church outfit...such a little grown up outfit, and yet she's still so innocent, playing with her toys, still so little...Now she will go to nursery, where she will learn about Jesus, sing songs about Jesus, play with kids her age and Bret and I...we will actually be able to listen to the lessons being taught...HIP, HIP, HOORAY!!Amidst these feelings of joy I'm having that my little one will be in nursery, I can't help but feel a bit hesitant to leave her in there. Will she be okay? Will they know what she wants or needs? Will the other little kids be nice to her? Will she be nice to the other little kids? All these thoughts will be running through my head as she enters the world of nursery...truly and milestone for her, but also for Bret and I....what are we going to be doing with our hands that once entertained her and attempted to keep her quiet during Sunday School?! At least we'll still have the diaper bag with the snacks in it for our own consumption right?!! :D

YAY for milestones big and small and hip hip hooray for my little one...she's going to love it (fingers and toes crossed)!

On a totally random side note because I couldn't figure out a way to tie mascara in with nursery...I'm in need of some suggestions for which type of mascara is the best out there. I'm not too pleased with my Bare Esscentuals mascara (although I {ADORE} their makeup). So if you would be so kind as to give me your favorite I would greatly appreciate it.

Yay for nursery! Mailee looks ADORABLE! You always have your girls dressed so cute! Oh and I really like CLINIQUE'S mascara. That is what I have been using lately and I really like it! You should give it a whirl!

It seems that once your kids make it to nursery you have to totally retrain yourself to actually have an attention span in SS and RS. At least I do. I find myself really having to try sooo hard to focus! But it is a great thing to send a kid off to nursery. I only have 9 more months to go with Clara!

I LOVE LOVE ESTEE LAUDER'S MAGNASCOPIC, BUT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY THE PRICE, LOREAL'S VOLUMINOUS IS PRETTY GOOD TOO!

Ah Mascara! It's the ONLY thing I wear (unless it's a nice occassion and then I wear a little eyeliner and color) so I know Mascara! I've tried them ALL out there, and I am using one now that I LOVE. It's not department store, it's from Target... It's ALMAY'S one coat nourishing mascara triple effect. It's in a long white and silver case, and it goes on like a dream! I LOVE IT.

Oh nursery, that's great. But they do grow up a little too fast sometimes, huh? It's been too weird to have Max in sunbeams. But good because it was really time.
I really like Mary Kay's standard mascara actually. It's been my favorite for a while...

You got the click dolls do you girls love them? Yay for nursery. Church is so much better with Stella in nursery.

Hands down Lancome mascara is the absolute best. I swear you won't be disappointed.

Yeah for nursery. If only we could get Nikolas to go and not cry(scream) each week. We have yet to enjoy a meeting.

Mascara, I adore loreal voluminous. I don't need a lengthening mascara, but I love the thickness it gives me. good luck in your search.

I am so envious of you right now. We only have 3 months and 20 days, or 16 more Sundays. But who's counting, right? Wrong. I count every single Sunday. I'm going nuts!

I use the same mascara as Heather. Maybelline Full N' Soft. I use the waterproof. I love it because it doesn't make your eyelashes fell all crunchy.
